Barts Charity

With 900 years of history, Barts Charity helps fund ground-breaking medical research on behalf of Barts Health hospitals in London. Recently, they've put a lot of work into updating their brand image, and an increasing focus on how people can get involved to support the charity, but the existing website wasn't reflecting that. So Barts Charity asked us to redesign and rebuild the site to refocus the content, with a great user experience on any device.

what we did

With experience in designing, building and hosting websites for half of the top 20 charities in the UK, UX specialists at WPN Chameleon, led by Digital Solutions Architect Louise Ryan, developed a new user journey that made the fundraising section of the website more central.  Extensive interviews and workshops with Barts Charity ensures the redesign met not just financial objectives but informational and brand objectives too. "A key part of the design was to emphasis the human side of the brand," said Stewart Sear, Digital Creative Director.

"We extensively analysed the performance of our old site through Google Analytics," said Ben Jones. "This led us to a position where we now have a website that reflects who we are, what we do, and how users can support our work." "The final creative approach is warm, approachable and authentic, while still showing the dynamism and impact of the charity," said Stewart Sear. The new site also hosted by WPN Chameleon, went live on March 9th 2016.
